Alresford Show 2007
This years 2007 Alresford Show had fallen foul to the recent outbreak of foot and mouth. The good weather this year, however, drew in the crowds to ensure a record attendance.
Southern Counties Fuels, Petersfield Depot, again presented a Trade Stand, which has become a tradition with five out of the last ten years being represented by the company.
The stand this year, proved to be extremely popular with people queuing at times to get on and talk to the staff.
Nigel and Jackie Pavey headed the sales team, supported by Paul Harrison, Mark Lillywhite and Gary Hewlett (above right).
There was a very popular face painting attraction, organised by Jackie's daughter, Rebecca, who was ably assisted by Lynn Lillywhite, they were kept very busy all day.
Alan Manning (SCF Director), unexpectantly arrived very early on the morning, and was soon put to work, being kept busy throughout the day.
A further mention should be made to Sally and Greg Hewlett for helping on Friday and behind the scenes, and Norman Swaffer who organised the transfer of tanks etc. from Warninglid to Petersfield.
We had many customers enter our prize draw to win a £50.00 voucher to put towards their Heating Oil for their home and the winner this year was:
